Chalet Appaloosa is located in one of France’s most chic and desirable ski resorts, Val d’Isère. The connected area of Val d’Isère and Tignes offer over 300km of slopes, with something to suit all abilities, plus one of the best snow records in all of France.
The chalet can be found on the Route du Petit Alaska, a pretty and peaceful street just a few minutes' walk to the main high street of Val d’Isère, where you’ll find a fantastic selection of bars, shops and restaurants.
The chalet is approximately a 10-minute walk from the Solaise and Bellevarde lifts, which give fast access to the whole of the Val d’Isere-Tignes area, but guests staying at Chalet Appaloosa won't need to worry about the walk in the morning, Ski France provides a free shuttle service to drop you off and pick you up from the lifts each day.
Prices include accommodation, electricity and water charges, bed linen, towels and bathrobes with beds made upon arrival included. End of stay cleaning. Upon arrival, a welcome basket and firewood are provided. Also available for your use is free Wi-Fi.
Chalet Appaloosa is set over four floors, with lift access too, Appaloosa is incredibly spacious and can sleep up to 14 guests in its seven cosy bedrooms.
With its own hot tub and steam room, we’re certain this will make a wonderful chalet for a group of friends or family. It’s also an excellent choice if you’re looking for a property with disabled access, as there is a lift which serves all four floors of the chalet.
Entrance to the chalet is on the ground floor, where you’ll find a spacious ski and boot room complete with a heated boot drier.
There is a large dining room, with plenty of space for 14 guests. The dining room has been beautifully furnished with elegant chandeliers above the table the focal point of the room. The kitchen is separate, but next door to the dining room.
It’s a semi-professional kitchen with stainless steel work surfaces and fully equipped with an oven, hob, dishwasher, a large fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso machine and coffee percolator.
Outside the kitchen and dining room is a spacious balcony, a great spot to enjoy aperitifs and nibbles before dinner and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding area whilst the sunsets.
There is a mezzanine level on the ground floor, where you’ll find a large and spacious living area with a roaring log fire and wonderfully comfortable sofas.

Über Val d'Isère
Val d'Isère is part of the Espace Killy ski area with access to 300km of downhill skiing served by a total of 87 ski lifts. There is 150km of skiing in Val d'Isère itself, with the full area pass giving you access to another 150km in the other Espace Killy ski resort of Tignes.
The ski resort is at 1,850m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With ski lifts as high as 3,450m, skiing and snowboarding are assured throughout the season.
